"Inclusion of children in Dutch passports no longer valid from 26 June 2012
With effect from 26 June 2012it will no longer be possible to include children in Dutch passports. Existing inclusions will lose their validity on that date.
Children who have been included will no longer be able to travel abroad on that basis with effect from 26 June 2012. All children will need to have their own travel documents, irrespective of their age.
Passports in which children are included will remain valid until the end of their validity period. The holder of the passport can still travel on it. A European regulation makes the principle of ‘one person per passport’ mandatory as of 26 June 2012. An inclusion in a passport is more susceptible to fraud than a document issued in the name of only one person.

Het registratieformulier moet voor 1 augustus 2012 binnen zijn bij de gemeente Den Haag OF de Ambassade in Canberra, het Consulaat-Generaal in Sydney of één van de Honoraire Consulaten in Australië.

Social Welfare, Illawarra had a busy year, with 523 visitations.
The Rembrandt Club, in St Marys reported on a car show and a
musical function, also Leiden's ontzet, fashion show and carnival night.
Abel Tasman Village reported on development work and the DACC
participated in a "Games Day', in Chatswood.
Social Welfare in Western Sydney Nepean has a growing visitation list.
Dutch Australian Society Illawarra celebrated a 59th anniversary and,
back in March there was a week's holiday in Macksville.
The "Echoes from the Past Project" was opened in the
Bunker Cartoon Gallery, Coffs Harbour.
The Concordia Club, in Newcastle, held, yet again
a very successful St Nicholas Day, 3rd Dec. and also a 54th birthday clebration 8th Oct.
The Rembrandt Choir enjoyed performing at the Stanwell Tops Holiday camp.
A proposal was tabled: That a committee be formed to explore and
develop the concept of a Dutch Hub for the benefit of all Dutch in Australia.

Hallo Klaverjas vrienden,
Het Moederdag toernooi, gehouden op Zondag 6 Mei, in de “Rembrandt-Club” StMarys werd redelijk bezocht, we hadden dan ook 52 spelers, dat betekend dat we 13 tafels vol gekregen hebben.
Als gewoonlijk waren er mooie prijzen te winnen voor de 5 hoogste aantal punten behaald, als-ook nog enkele lucky door prijsjes, de netste en meest rommelige score-sheet, ook weer “the miracle score of 4444” of dichtst bij zijnde, kreeg een prijs.
Een dankwoord werd toe bedacht aan de vrijwilligers in de keuken als ook aan de mensen achter de bar, als gewoonlijk ook hier weer, zeer goed verzorgd.
De uitslagen zijn als volgd; Eerste plaats, Jan Henze, Neerlandia-Club met 5983 punten; Tweede, Hlda de Vries, Rembrandt-Club met 5687 punten en 3 marsen. Derde, Edy Husman, S.K.C. met 5420 punten en
2 marsen; Vierde, Piet Bouman, Neerlandia met 5336 punten en 5 marsen. Vijfde, Johanna Naylor, D.A.S.I.-Club met 5196 punten. Dan hadden we Gerry Aalders, Hornsby-Club met 4445 punten, maar 1 puntje voorbij het magiese nummer 4444.
Het eerst volgende toernooi is in de Neerlandia-Club, Frenchs-Forest, op Zondag 10 Mei en georganiseerd door de Klaverjas Federatie. In vroegere jaren in Nederland hadden ze een gezegde “Maak dat je er bij bent” laten we het met z’n allen ook hier waar maken, dus kijk uit naar Zondag de 10de Juni,,,tot dan.
Het is nog altijd zo dat elke auto kan minstens 4 spelers inbrengen, zo help elkaar waar het mogelijk is…
